Caritas K's Project Compassion Fundraiser

St Kieran's Primary School students, staff and families have joined Caritas fundraising campaign to help end poverty, promote justice and uphold dignity.

The theme for Project Compassion 2023 is "For All Future Generations" and schools, parishes and communities across Brisbane will participate in the humanitarian fundraising and awareness campaign.

St Kieran's Assistant Principal for Religious Education Mr David Isbester said, "Social justice programs at St Kieran's encourage our students to grow into good global citizens by empowering them to help others suffering beyond our school".

"By being part of Caritas Project Compassion, we help our students to realise that while no-one can do everything, we can all do something to make the world a better place".

"St Kieran's commitment to social justice ensure that our students finish their learning journey not only as better students but also as better members of society", Mr Isbester said.

As part of the school's fundraising events students and families are invited to participate in the Caritas K's fun run held on Wednesday the 22nd of March at Decker Park Brighton, 8am.  Students participating are asked to bring a gold coin donation.

Your generous support can help change lives today - and For All Future Generations.

Donations are welcome via the Caritas Project Compassions school fund raising page.
