Learning and teaching is at the forefront of our school. Dedicated teachers and staff work together to create a warm environment where children feel valued, are engaged in their learning and can strive to achieve their full potential in a contemporary and dynamic learning environment.
The Brisbane Archdiocesan Religious Education and the Australian Curriculum are implemented from Prep to Year 6 and a variety of strategies and resources are used to engage student’s in innovative, contemporary learning. Increased technology throughout the school along with the one-to-one device program from across all grades, allow the children to become responsible digital citizens in our rapidly changing world.
Teachers are engaged in planning meetings in Religious Education and English or Maths to develop units of work that meet the needs of the students and review and respond to the learning that is taking place.

The Australian Curriculum will be the source of all curriculum planning, assessment and reporting for all Learning Areas covered by the Australian Curriculum. Key Learning Areas not covered by the Australian Curriculum will be sourced from the relevant state statutory body. The Mparntwe Declaration (PDF 4.9MB) outlines two goals similar to the 2008 Melbourne Declaration: The Australian education system promotes excellence and equity. All young Australians become confident and creative individuals, successful lifelong learners, and active and informed members of the community.
