Vision St Kieran's Catholic Primary School is committed to ​providing a faith-filled learning environment.  In the spirit of Saint Kieran we strive for a culture of growth, generosity and belonging as part of an inclusive community.

Mission  We encourage students to have a growth mindset so that they achieve their potential and become life long learners.  Together we value the role each member of our school community plays.  Founded by the Canossian Sisters we continue to reflect their values​ by giving our best, having courage, doing the small things well, working as a team and never giving up.  We live our motto, "Strength Through Caring" so that our students become successful members of society.​​

Students rack up Kilometres to help those in Needhttp://www.stkieranbrighton.qld.edu.au/featured-news/Pages/Students-rack-up-Kilometres-to-help-those-in-Need.aspxStudents rack up Kilometres to help those in Need<p></p><p>Students at St Kieran's Primary School Brighton will walk, run and gather kilometres of kindness to raised funds to benefit those living in poverty.</p><p>Every year during Lent, the school supports Caritas Project Compassion and on Wednesday, 24 March, students will participate in Caritas Ks where they will run or walk around a designated track to fundraise at Decker Park in Brighton.</p><p>Principal Mr Ben Gray said, “Caritas Project Compassion is about raising awareness as well as money and our students always embrace that".</p><p>“Caritas Ks is an opportunity to walk in solidarity with those in our world who walk long distances every day for basic needs such as fetching water, obtaining food, going to school or simply living".</p><p>“The dedication of St Kieran's to social justice ensures that our students not only complete their learning path as better students, but also as better members of society" Mr Gray said.</p><p>The theme for Project Compassion 2021 is “Be More and Transform Lives" and thousands of schools, parishes and communities across Brisbane will participate in one of Australia's largest humanitarian fundraising and awareness campaigns.</p><p>The Caritas Australia fundraiser runs through the six weeks of Lent and brings hundreds of thousands of Australians together in solidarity with the world's most vulnerable communities, to help end poverty, promote justice and uphold dignity.</p><p>Money raised during Project Compassion goes towards Caritas Australia's humanitarian and long-term development programs in more than 40 countries across Asia, Africa, the Pacific and Latin America and with First Australian communities.</p><p>Members of the community can support this great cause by donating online <a href="https://lent.caritas.org.au/t/stkieransprimaryschoolbrighton">here</a> <br></p><p>​<br></p>
