​Welcome to the St Kieran’s Primary School website. Our school community provides high quality inclusive Catholic education for children from Prep to Year 6 in a co-educational setting. We are proud of our caring, welcoming atmosphere which is reflected in our school motto – Strength through Caring.

At St Kieran’s Primary School we are a child-centred Catholic faith community where there is excellence in teaching and learning and where we value the development of the whole child and ensure every student progresses and grows academically, emotionally, spiritually and physically.

Vision St Kieran's Catholic Primary School is committed to ​providing a faith-filled learning environment.  In the spirit of Saint Kieran we strive for a culture of growth, generosity and belonging as part of an inclusive community.

Mission  We encourage students to have a growth mindset so that they achieve their potential and become life long learners.  Together we value the role each member of our school community plays.  Founded by the Canossian Sisters we continue to reflect their values​ by giving our best, having courage, doing the small things well, working as a team and never giving up.  We live our motto, "Strength Through Caring" so that our students become successful members of society.​​

National Pyjama Day http://www.stkieranbrighton.qld.edu.au/featured-news/Pages/National-Pyjama-Day-.aspxNational Pyjama Day <p>​As part of Catholic Education Week, students and staff from St Kieran's dressed in their night time cosy pyjamas to raise much needed funds for the Pyjama Foundation.  </p><p>Principal Mr Ben Gray said "Caring for others is just one way we live Jesus' message and we thank everyone for supporting this great cause".​<br></p><p>Donations raised over $400 which will assist the Pyjama Foundation to help children in Foster Care with reading.  They offer learning skills to more than 1000 children living in care and fund educational resources to help provide stable, positive relationships.<br></p><p><br></p><p><img src="/featured-news/SiteAssets/Pages/National-Pyjama-Day-/PJ%20Day.jpg" alt="PJ Day.jpg" style="margin:5px;width:565px;" />​<br></p>
Connecting with Communityhttp://www.stkieranbrighton.qld.edu.au/featured-news/Pages/Connecting-with-Community.aspxConnecting with Community<p>​Our School Captains recently visited the Green P Community Farm located at the Deagon Racecourse.</p><p>Green P Community  Farm is an important site for people with diverse backgrounds.  Among the farmers are refugees and migrants from Bhutan, Burma, the South Pacific and Nepalese cultures.  It is an important place for people not just to work and grow food but to foster kinship with people around them.</p><p>At the beginning of the year, the St Kieran's staff supported the community of refugees by helping on their farm and creating a mosaic, which is now proudly on display on the shed wall.<br></p><p>Principal Mr Ben Gray said "As a community, a sense of caring, concern and responsibility​ towards others is fostered in all students at St Kieran's".<br></p><p>"We are committed to social justice projects that work towards creating a better society for us all", he said.<br></p><p><img src="/featured-news/SiteAssets/Pages/Connecting-with-Community/114.jpg" alt="114.jpg" style="margin:5px;" /><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>​</p>
