St Kieran's representative sporting program centres around our participation in both the Zone 6 Catholic Schools Sporting Association and Bramble Bay District Sport competitions.

Zone 6 Catholic Schools Sporting Association
The Zone 6 Catholic Schools Sporting Association brings together all Catholic Primary Schools in the Brisbane North region to engage in friendly competition with like minded students, with a focus on promoting the social and physical development of all children.

As part of the Zone 6 Catholic Schools Sporting Association St Kieran's students have the opportunity to be selected as a team to represent the school in a variety of sporting carnivals including Athletics, Cross Country and Swimming dependent on their age and the event selection policy.

Our students in years 4 to 6 also participate in the Zone 6 Gala Day competition.  This event sees students compete over two separate days in sports such as Netball, AFL, Rugby League and Touch Football.

Bramble Bay District Sport

St Kieran's is also part of the Bramble Bay District with comprises of all Primary Schools in the local area.  Students aged from 9 years (for some sport only) and older can nominate to trial in a variety of sports to make the Bramble Bay team.  Selection in a Bramble Bay Team can lead to Metropolitan North and even State representation.  More information about Bramble Bay District Sport trials, selection criteria and dates can be found at the Bramble Bay website.
